Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. The program will launch statewide in California mid-2023.

WordBuilder Intervention is a free research-based instructional tool to help adolescent struggling readers break down, build, and spell multisyllabic words. Designed by faculty at CSUN, it is a tool for teacher-led, direct instruction delivered in small groups or one-on-one with struggling readers.

The Center for Reading Science supports educators in implementing the science of reading in their classrooms and communities. They aim to provide trusted information and resources to help educators bridge the research-to-practice gap and provide evidence-based practices in preschool through higher education.
